Three Gorges invests US$57m in Cixi wind project |

HUBEI, April 3 -- China Three Gorges Project Corporation (CTGPC) has signed a contract with Cixi Wind Power Co. to build a co-invested 49.5MW wind power project. The New Energy Development Co., under CTGPC will control 75% share of the project according to the contract.
With a total investment of RMB460 million (US$57 million) and equipped with 33x1.5MW wind turbine units, the project is scheduled to launch in this year and will be operational in 2007.
